Terms & Conditions

The purchase of products from Graduation Sash is governed by the following Terms and Conditions. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Orders

• All orders are subject to approval of styles, quantities, fabric availability, and scheduling capacity.
• A confirmation email will be sent once your order is approved and enters production.
• All products are fully customised; please allow up to 6–8 weeks for completion. Estimated timelines can be provided upon request.

2. Artwork & Approvals

• Graduation Sash will supply artwork/layouts for your approval.
• It is your responsibility to verify spelling, colours, styles, and layout.
• The final printed product will reflect the approved artwork exactly.
• If unsure about layout or colour combinations, please contact us—we’re happy to provide samples or guidance.

3. Delivery

• We use Australia Post, Couriers Please, Fastway, or TNT.
• While we select the fastest courier available, we do not control courier services and are not responsible for delivery delays or missed deliveries.
• Please double-check your delivery address. We are not liable for incorrect addresses or redelivery fees.
• If your item arrives damaged, contact us immediately. All deliveries are insured.

4. Product Descriptions

• We take care to describe and present all products accurately, but variations in colour and appearance may occur.
• Colour previews via digital tools are representations only. Monitor settings may alter perceived colours.
• The final product may differ slightly from what is displayed online.

5. Stock & Availability

• We cannot guarantee the continuous availability of all fabrics or colours.
• If a selected fabric or style is unavailable, we will notify you and offer alternatives.

6. Refunds & Returns

• Please inspect goods on delivery. Only sign for goods that are in good condition.
• Notify us within 7 working days for any issues, and return items within 3 days of notice.
• Refunds or replacements are issued only for defective items or errors caused by Graduation Sash.
• No refunds for change of mind, dislike of colour/print/design, or errors caused by the customer after purchase.
• Do not wait until the day of your graduation to inspect items—we cannot remake items in a last-minute timeframe.

7. Cancellations

• Orders become firm and binding upon receipt of your confirmation email to proceed.
• Fabric ordering and template creation begin immediately.
• Printing starts after full payment or 50% deposit is received (this triggers the 6-week production timeline).
• Cancellations or changes must be requested within 7 days of agreement email.
• A $25 artwork fee applies to all cancellations or major changes.

8. Printing & Sewing Process

• Sashes are printed using thermal printing (not screen printed), resulting in less ink coverage than screen printing.
• Screen printing is used only for full-colour sashes due to higher costs.
• Sashes are cut with pinking shears or scalloped scissors to help prevent fraying.
• Stoles may be screen printed or sublimation printed, and can be sewn first then printed, or printed first then sewn.
• All stoles have a ~1-inch gap at the seamline (from sewing machine foot removal), which is pressed back inside. If the seam is visibly open, please notify us.

9. Price Match Policy

• Competitor must be an Australian ABN-registered company currently open for business.
• Product must be identical (size, colour, fabric, style, stitching, etc.).
• You must provide a valid quote or invoice dated within the last 7 days, with detailed description and artwork, addressed to your business and billing address.
• If verified as genuine, Graduation Sash may honour the price match.
• Graduation Sash reserves the right to refuse a price match at its discretion.

10. Price Beat Policy

• If eligible, we may offer a 10% discount below a competitor’s quoted price.
• Competitor must be ABN-registered and operational in Australia, and product must be identical.
• A valid competitor quote (no older than 7 days) must be submitted.
• Price Beat: 10% discount on total competitor quote; valid for one order per customer; cannot be combined with other offers; not for repeat customers.
• Graduation Sash reserves the right to approve, modify, or cancel the offer at any time.
