What’s the difference between a sash and a stole?

Technically, they’re similar, but we differentiate by style and fabric:

  • Stole: Resembles a scarf with a “U” or “V” shape at the back of the neck, made from double-lined bridal satin.
  • Sash: Can be worn around the neck or across the body, fastened with a sash pin or velcro. Made from satin deluxe material.

What are the measurements of your graduation stoles and sashes?

  • Stoles:
    PRESCHOOL - 45” approx. 4.75" wide
    PRIMARY SCHOOL - 60" approx. 4.75" wide
    HIGHSCHOOL/HIGHER EDUCATION - 72" approx. 4.75" wide
  • Sashes:
    CLASS SASH - Highschool shoulder sash 180cm / around-neck sash ~1.7m, 10cm wide
    PRIMARY, PRE-SCHOOL, KINDERGARTEN - Shoulder sash 160cm or 140cm, 10cm wide
    FORMAL SASH - Shoulder sash 180cm long, 10cm wide
    Custom sizes available upon request

What are the minimum order quantities?

We normally don’t have a minimum order, but it depends on the product. Please contact us for details.

What types of printing finishes are available?

  • Thermal transfer printing
  • Traditional screen printing
  • Digital printing

Prices vary depending on the method.

Will my sash or stole colour match exactly what I see on my monitor?

We strive for accuracy, but monitor settings vary. Colours may differ slightly from the actual satin fabric. We use Pantone colours for screen printing and embroidery—please provide Pantone references when ordering.

How do I place an order?

For custom sashes, our designer will provide a variety of options with your colours and branding. Alternatively, you can submit your own design. Fill out the Contact Form with details. We’ll confirm with an invoice or quotation.

Please email high-resolution logos to info@graduationsash.com.au (formats accepted: JPEG, PNG, PDF).

What payment methods do you accept?

  • Bank deposit
  • PayPal and Credit card (2% surcharge)

When should I expect to receive my order?

Stoles: Allow 4–6 weeks depending on quantity and type. Stocked stoles (white, navy, maroon) dispatch in 1–2 weeks.
Sashes: Allow 2 weeks.

What is your return policy and postage?

No refunds after dispatch unless faulty/damaged. Notify within 7 days for a replacement or refund. No refunds for used or change-of-mind orders. Postage cost depends on weight; shipped via Australia Post, TNT, Aramex, Couriers Please. We are not responsible for courier delays.
